Your unforgettable summer holiday in the Stubaital

All options between spring and autumn

From May to the end of September, the summer season transforms the Stubaital in Tyrol into a region brimming with possibilities. Whether hiking, mountaineering, biking or paragliding – the ambiance and conditions are a perfect fit. Stretching over 30 kilometres from the entrance to the valley to the foot of the glaciers, an exceptional network of hiking trails and bike routes unfolds. All altitudes can be reached and climbed using the mountain railways, by bike or on foot.

A particular highlight is the Stubai High Trail, one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in the Alps. Over eight stages with around 8000 metres of altitude gain, you will experience pure diversity in the mountains. And because exercise makes you hungry: in traditional alpine pastures and cosy mountain huts, savour regional delicacies and authentic Tyrolean hospitality.

Fancy something a bit more adventurous? Your options range from the air right down to the water. Glide by paraglider from the Elfer into the valley below, or experience the thrill of a rafting tour on the “dynamic” Ruetz, the Stubaital’s very lifeline. No matter how you spend your days, a summer holiday in Neustift will leave a lasting impression.
